Private Equity Business Analyst

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Private Equity Business Analyst with a management consulting background from a top-tier firm (McKinsey, BCG, Accenture) to join our team. As a key member of the Private Equity group, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, analyzing financial statements, modeling projections and identifying potential investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analyze market trends, industry dynamics and competitive landscapes
Develop financial models and projections to assess investment opportunities
Analyze and interpret company financial statements, annual reports and other relevant data
Participate in due diligence processes - gather and evaluate information on potential investments
Collaborate with other team members to prepare investment memos and presentations
Monitor and track portfolio companies' performance, identify areas for improvement and develop action plans
Contribute to overall fund strategy development and assist senior team members with ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution in finance, economics, or related field
Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a business analyst or consultant at a top-tier management consulting firm
Experience within the private equity industry is strongly preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively
Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
